Instructions for
Submission
I. General Guidelines
I.1. All submissions, in
MS Word and
PDF formats, are to be
uploaded on Conference Website.
I.2. Complete research papers are limited to maximum of 20 pages,
including figures and tables.
I.3.
The research
paper
must include a separate title page that
indicates clearly: (1) author(s), (2) affiliation(s), (3) complete
addresses,telephone/fax numbers, and email address, (4) title
of the research
paper, and (5) selected topic area.
I.4.
Abstract
should be at most 500 words that briefly describe
your work and results.
I.5.
Keywords:
At most 5 keywords describing the research
paper
theme.
I.6. Introduction
should identify the problem, the technical task,
and the purpose of the paper. The last paragraph of the
introduction
should give an overview of the different sections
of the paper.
I.7.
Suggested
sections
of the paper include:
I.8.
References
Paper Example
[1] Last-name, I., Last2, I., and Last3, I., "Paper Title",
Citation, year, pp. ??-??.
Book Example
[2] Last, I. and Last, I. Book Title, Publisher, year.
II. Formatting Guidelines
II.1. Page Setup
Page
size: A4 with margins 2.7 from top and left and 2.5 from
bottom and right.
II.2. Style Guidelines
If you
use styles defined in this file you should not worry
about font, spacing, … etc. For more details, please read
below.
II.2.1.
Font
Font used in all of paper should be Times New Roman (except
for designated
figures or algorithm listing you may use Arial
to
differentiate but it is not mandatory).
II.2.2. Title,
authors and affiliation
Title:
size16 bold with first letter of each word capitalized
(uppercase).
Authors: size 14 Bold.
Affiliation and address: size 12.
II.2.3. Headings and
subheadings
Headings:
size 11 bold with letters all capitalized (uppercase).
Subheadings:
size 11 bold with first letter of each word
capitalized
(uppercase).
Sub-subheading:
size 10 bold with first letter of first word
capitalized (uppercase).
II.2.4. Paragraphs and
spacing
Paragraphs should all be in Font 10, justified on both margins
with
no indentation for the first line. Single spacing should be
used. A half-line spacing (6pts) should be left between
paragraphs.
A
full-line spacing (12) should be left before major
headings.
II.3. Figures
- Figures should be clear and original.
- Each figure should have
a caption, and caption size should
be 12 and centered under the
figure.
- Figures should be
within the paper inserted at the
appropriate place and NOT all grouped at
the end of the
research paper.
- Figures should be numbered
sequentially for each section
(e.g.
2.1, 2.2 … then 3.1, 3.2 …).
II.4.
Equations
- Each equation must have a number.
- Equations should be
numbered sequentially within each
section (e.g.
1, 2 … then 3…).
Note:
Papers not adhering
to above format will be disqualified.
