Prof. Junta Doi is a Professor at the University of Tokyo and currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Chiba Institute of Technology.

He has graduated from the University of Tokyo, division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences.

He has established the laboratory of BioInformatics and the department of BioTechnology at the University of Tokyo.

His research interests include: BioInformatics, BioMetrics, Image Processing and Geometric Modeling.

He is a member of the ACM, and the IEEE Computer Society.
