Biography:
Amr Mohamed Ismail is CCSI-Certified Cisco Systems
Instructor working at Fast Lane-CCIEgypt both as an Instructor and
IP telephony consultant. As an instructor, he has been responsible
for teaching the voice track and other Cisco courses all around
the Middle East, Europe and North Africa. As a consultant, he has
been active in the design and implementation of IP Telephony projects
in the area. Acquired academic and technical qualifications include
: B. Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the Electronics and Electrical
Communications Department - Faculty of Engineering/Cairo University
in 2000, Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI), Certified Cisco
Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP),
experience in teaching CVOICE, CIPT, IPTT, QOS, EVODD, CRS, Unity
IPCCT, MCNS and all MCSE 2000 Courses.

Biographies:
Tamer El Menoufy is a network planning and design
supervisor at Vodafone Egypt. He prepared technical studies for
new technologies and high level plans illustrating how to introduce
new technologies smoothly in the GSM network while making use of
Vodafone Global implementation for similar activities. He participated
in GPRS/VF Live! Project implementation. His past work experiences
include: Team leader of network planning and design group at Vodafone
Egypt (in 2002), System analyst at Giza Systems (in 1999), Lab assistant
in AUC (in 1997), and Network specialist in MegaCom in (1997).
Ahmed F. Hafez is a network planning and design engineer at Vodafone Egypt. He is responsible for planning the rollout and the calibration for the network BSCs, MSCs, TSGs and SCPS, as well as planning the transmission forecast for the planned rollouts and GPRS nodes upgrade. He is a member of the IT & TM group. He is the technical project manager in designing and coordination for the WLAN service development and he is part of the Vodafone Harvest team, GPRS services and corporate solutions development team. In 2000 he worked as a technical support engineer at Master Technology Company, Oracle partners for software development and website design. He attended the following courses: GSM overview, C7 Signaling, GPRS a technical perspective, GPRS node dimension, AXE810 delta hands on, CISCO ICND, CISCO DCN and introduction to VoIP.
Ahmed Kamal is a Mobile Technology Business Analyst
at Vodafone Egypt. He has 8+ years of experience in the field of
software engineering involving project management, system analysis,
design, and implementation of commercial and tailored applications.
He held many positions in the ASSET Technology Group like Project
Manager in the offshore consultancy and services department (in
2002), Project Manager in the application development department
(in 2000) and Analyst/Programmer, and Senior Analyst/Programmer
(in 1996). He attended the following courses: MS Visual Studio .NET,
Java JDK 1.2, Oracle Designer and Developer/2000, Oracle 8 DB Administration,
Oracle Discoverer 3.1, MS SQL Server 6.5 DB Administration, Power
Builder 6, and SYBASE SQL Server 10 DB Administration.
Wassim A. Darwish joined Vodafone Egypt as a planning engineer and is currently the Data Service Manager. His responsibilities include: Carrying out VAS network economic modeling of CAPEX, Benchmarking to support financial planning and budgeting, Early awareness for MKTG and business users with benefits available from new updates, Supporting MKTG with different options for developing MKTG products, and Reviewing/assessing business continuity plan and long range plan for VAS nodes. His past work experiences include: Network designer in information and broadband at Siemens/EGTI (n 2000), Field engineer in SITA/Equant (in 1999) and Network designer in SCE Internet (in 1998).
